All About Kerry Watson Art

I am a self-taught artist from Suffolk, I have always been passionate about both art and animals and it was this combination that drove me to pursue a career in the art world. I started painting back in my early school days and it was there I discovered my love of art. I went on to study A level art, I created bits and pieces thereafter, offering pet commissions but had breaks from my art in between having my children and help run our family business.

Bringing you on to the present day, I paint regularly and have been working tirelessly on pieces for my debut exhibition. Most of my paintings are of animals, taking inspiration from all creatures great and small. My art is not just about creating visually beautiful pieces, but also about raising awareness and appreciation for the animal kingdom.

My larger acrylic paintings tend to capture the intricate and photorealistic details of the animals I portray, bringing them to life in the painting. Each piece is a labour of love, as I strive to convey the beauty of these magnificent creatures through my tiny brushstrokes. I like to make a real statement with my larger paintings and acrylics are the perfect medium for it.

But having said that art doesn't always have to be big to make an impact, that is why I love creating my 'mini masterpieces' that are bursting with life and colour. These little gems can be hung anywhere due to their little size, they bring a burst of energy to even the most lifeless walls.

So whether your a nature lover, an animal enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates beautiful art, Kerry Watson Art has something for you. So come explore my world of vibrant and captivating wildlife art and why not brighten up your space with my creations, Like I always say 'empty walls are boring so fill them with art'!
